Or else you'll just end up with a drawing of what I think your character should look like. It'll probably involve uncomfortable amounts of leather and strangely revealing costumes. A little something like this, perhaps? (That link is DEFINITELY NSFW btw) Anyway, seriously, gimme descriptions! I make no promises that they will actually get drawn but the sooner I know what they look like the sooner I can start making stupid doodles which might eventually turn into actual, finished pieces. Alternately, if you're not quite sure what they look like, gimme some vague inspiration to draw from (other characters, random artwork, a selection of evocative nouns and adjectives which conjure a rich tapestry of emotional responses associated with your character concept...if that's your thing...) and I'll design something.

Let's see. The Grey One (or Grey for short) is usually dressed in warm outdoor clothing, white and grey colors, furs, wrappings, hood etc. (very close to what my avatar has on), he's about 5'9", blue eyes, pale skin, around 200lbs and in his late 40s. He's got long wavy dark hair and a bushy rugged beard that are both noticeably going grey. He carries a staff with a white jewel on the end. You can tell that he's in great shape as well, living in the wilderness has made him quite hardy in stature and appearance. (he can chop wood like a champ) If you had to guess, you would assume he was a ranger or druid at first glance. If you take a long look in his eyes ....you can tell there's a little something "off" about him though.

Gremulka Tuskcracker stands 6' 3" and weighs a solid 21 stones (about 300 lbs) and at 22, living off the land, hunting bison and mammoth for food, and fighting to just say "hi," she is lean and muscled like an olympic female weightlifter. She looks like a mix between Brienne of Tarth and Serena Williams, if they were both half orc. Her skin is nut brown, lightly scarred and heavily tattooed. Two small tusks show when she smiles, and one is, indeed cracked. Her hair is jet black, in long, bundled black dreads each ending in large feathers. Her eyes are black as well. She wears thick leather hides, carries a giant, worn, notched axe, and a mess of semi-precious stone jewelry all over. All her clothes are fur lined, functional, and practical. She always looks at people like she is half mocking them, or smiling to some internal joke only she understands.

Thibor the half-elf stands a lean 6'4", roughly 200 lbs. Think Randy Orton's physique. The left side of his face and side of his head are scarred in a pattern consistent with a map of a constellation. It looks like a brand, but could have been knife carved. His skin is almost paper white, with a slight shade of grey, his eyes emerald green. His ears are have a pronounced point, betraying his elvish heritage. His hair is shaved into a close cropped Mohawk, in the back it comes down long into a queue ending at his hip. His monkly vestments are in storage, so to speak, as he works in the merchant caravans.

Kiph would be a stark contrast to Thibor. A half-elf as well, but standing at a meager 5' 7". Aside from the slight angular features of his face and a small point to his ears he would seem just like a good looking human. His skin bares the mark of a sailor... Bronzed and mildly beaten from years of being on the sea he may look older than he should, though as a half elf he still only looks about 20 in human years. His icy blue eyes stand out against his darker complexion, the strongest feature left over from his father's lineage. He is only 160 pounds, but pure muscle from working on ships most his life. He prefers function over his spell casting counterparts when it comes to clothing. He would be in fine travelers clothes dyed a darker blue. Over the padded shirts, for warmth, he would wear a sleeveless dark brown leather long coat. The leather vest he wears has sheathes running over the chest holding five daggers for quick access. His hair is jet black, pin straight, and always perfectly pulled into a high ponytail. He may remind you of an Asian, but the eyes look more like a Persian.

Lou, I hope you realize that by making that comparison I'm now obligated to give Thibor giant beefy thighs and an ass so flat you could use it as a table if you made him lie down on his stomach.
I'm also really amused at the HUGE height disparity between the two half elves in the party, that's just great.
I suppose just for completeness sake, I'll give you my character's description as well:
The Ranger is somewhere around 5'5". It's hard to get an idea of their exact weight or build thanks to the layers of their clothing, which they stubbornly refuse to shed, even in the comparatively "warmer" southern climate. Their general shape seems to suggest a stocky build, perhaps even a little bit fat. Over all they give the impression of being quite hardy, in a Shetland pony sort of way.
Very few of their features are ever visible, if they can help it. It can definitively be said that they have dark brown skin and brown eyes with very expressive eyebrows. Typically they keep their hood up, unless doing so might interfere with their vision or ability to hear. When the hood is down it reveals dark black hair, slightly wavy, and cut short enough that it stays out of their eyes but otherwise has no discernible style. In fact, it looks like it was hacked off with a knife, because that's exactly what happened. They keep the lower half of their face - nose and mouth - covered in a mask at all times. The mask is carved from a very light colored wood and has a few slits cut in it to facilitate easier breathing. The slits vaguely resemble some sort of animal nose. The mask also has a friendly smile painted on it, just in case people might be intimidated by it. The smile does not actually help people be less intimidated by the mask, but no one has told the Ranger that.
Aside from mask and hood their clothing is well worn, carefully repaired, and always practical, without much by the way of ornamentation or decoration. Leather and wool are the primary materials, either in their natural colors or dyed in shades of blue and grey. They can be identified (proudly!) as a ranger thanks to the guild badge on their sleeve.

stupidsketchyshit.tumblr.com/image/100878984848Left to right: Kiph, Grey, Gremulka, Thibor, Stanca ....hopefully you could have figured that out on your own but yeah... Lemme know what you think! Feedback and changes very welcome, this is just the first take on things. Kiph in particular needs work, I think.

stupidsketchyshit.tumblr.com/image/100891656288Drew some more junk: updated Kiph (MUCH improved I think), Gremulka, Thibor, one Stanca who looks way older than I think he's actually supposed to be. How old is he anyway? Pros of having me in the group: I'll draw your character Cons of having me in the group: If you make the mistake of mentioning Randy Orton in their description I'll do nothing but draw them in Randy Orton's victory pose and make fun of their complete lack of any kind of ass. Also, I accidentally made Gremulka hot. I hope you don't mind, Nick, because I'm already in love with her. As before, feedback very welcome! This is basically just me noodling around and drawing whatever I like while vaguely following your directions

These are all fantastic. Truly. Also, you forgot to list a con, because that read as a pro to me. And Randy's fabulous thighs make up for any lacking ass areas. That man's got legs, and knows how to use them.

I like Stanca's picture. I had imagined his hair a little bit shorter. Like just barely shoulder length for the hair and the beard a little shorter than that of the Gray's but certainly not as bushy has his is pictured.
