I have set up some macros mainly for quick button damage and attack presses. What about everyone else? Do people have any suggestions for spell casters other than spell attack rolls and damage rolls?

That was what I was attempting to set-up when we were testing the other week. The problem is that it automatically calculates the formula on the character sheet but if you program the macro directly it will not update if it changes for some reason. Also, the ones from the character sheet auto include for advantage/disadvantage.

I have found the character sheet to be slow and it takes up too much of the screen though. I am trying to mess around with the macros, they say there are more complex ones. I am trying to see if you can make buttons for character specific rolls.

and it works! with a little tweeking you can actually set macros based on character sheet attributes. If you enter the ranged or attack bonus this works if you put in "@{character name|global_melee_attack_bonus}" changing "melee" for "ranged" and "attack" for "damage". This still requires you to update your sheet. I will test more for attributes.

Anyone want to post their macros?
I have only been able to make ones that let me make fart noises in the chat box.

I may have finally figured it out. I will need more to test however, but one of the problems was that I was missing the proficiency bonus.

I read through the wiki page for macros on roll 20. I cannot find anything that allows you to place proficiency bonus in a macro. Best I was able to do was use a skill my character had only my proficiency bonus in to translate. Any suggestions other than that. I have managed to add ability modifiers to rolls by place "+ @{character name|ability name_Mod}" ability name would be strength, intelligence.... you get the point. I have only been able to make this work for the core stats. This should at least help people with damage rolls so that they can add dex or str to them.
Attack rolls we may have to update as the character progresses.
