I can do Thursday this week. Once October is over, I can do either Tuesday or Thursday pretty much any week.

Sounds like a plan, do I need to do anything in preparation for it?

Nope, nothing special to prepare ahead of time.

Testing....
I'm best on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Especially Thursdays as I'm usually home alone.

Let me know if there is anything special I need to do besides buy/read a 5th Ed. book.

Well, there is the traditional entry fee. A check payable to Mr. Louis Joseph Fis for any amount of your choosing (minimum $1000.00) should be mailed in as soon as convenient.

Take a look around at the setting material in the forums for a general understanding on the setting.
I'd also suggest looking at the other player-character concepts so you can make someone who complements the party or fills a vacant spot/role.

Cool. Checking through everyone's character creation threads, I want to make sure I get a good hearing on what everyone is playing (anyone have a condensed list?)
I always lean toward fighters but I'm really interested in playing a Paladin.

Yep. 8:00pm tonight on the Roll20 site: Phelps, Nick, and Syracuse.
Tom and Keith, you guys can log on if you want, and I can throw some incomplete characters together for you to use. It's not a real session, just a mix of learning 5th Edition and learning the website interface.
